Gratitude percolates throughout the twelve poems featured in the Summer 2015 issue of the Coal Hill Review. Featuring work by Ruth Madievesky, Jeff Whitney, and collaborative writing by Simone Muench and Dean Rader, among others. Ruth Madievsky opens Issue 17 with a meditation on hands, Bob Watts pulls us into the city of Baltimore, while Alysse McCanna reflects on Sylvia Plath. “The door opens to a street like in the movies” begins the second half two collaborative work written by Simone Muench and Dean Rader. The issue concludes with “A Dance” by Jeff Whitney.
